Little Tree Gardening

About us

Here at Little Tree Gardening we help people get the most out of their outdoor space, creating places where you can relax and unwind full of wildlife friendly plants and features that stimulate your senses and bring you joy throughout the year.

We love working with nature and people. Jenny Wain, our founder, has spent the last 20 years working in the environmental sector with communities, charities and local councils. Most recently she's worked on nature recovery projects across Cumbria and North Lancashire. This has led to our services combining nature rich, sustainable gardening with companion gardening, coaching and skills sharing. She holds a Level 2 RHS Practical Horticulture qualification.

We maintain, restore, and create outdoor spaces that are beautiful, diverse and full of wildlife, using ecological gardening methods and sustainability principles.

We are happy to work in gardens, ‘yardens’, balconies, community spaces or allotments.

We can work alone, or work alongside you, providing an extra pair of hands, or coaching and sharing gardening skills with you.

Whatever it is you need, we aim to work with you to create a space that meets your needs today, to reflect the time, energy and resources that you have available. Together we can create a space where you and nature thrive.

LTG services are covered by public liability insurance.

Who we are

Jenny Wain

Jenny is RHS qualified and has been honing her nature gardening skills for over a decade. She began gardening age 5, sowing nasturtium seeds which delighted her, were tasty to eat and were a great place for watching bees!  When she's not got her hands in the soil she'll be walking or swimming in the Lakeland fells, or exploring new places at home and abroad.
